Minutes of the General Assembly, 16th Meeting of ICVG, 01 10 2009

Three new members of the the Steering Committee of ICVG:  Fiona Constable (Australia), Nuredin Habili (Australia) and Nikos Katis (Greece) have kindly confirmed to serve as new members of the Steering Committee in replacement of Ali Rezaian (Australia), Iannis Rumbos (Greece) and Oscar A. De Sequeira (Portugal) who accepted with thanks their election as Honorary Members of the Steering Committee of ICVG.     >>> Committee .      Ali Rezaian, Iannis Rumbos and Oscar A. De Sequeira have not only very activiely contributed as rewarded scientists in grapevine virology but they also actively participated in the steering committee and in the organization of past ICVG meetings in Greece (1990), Portugal (1997) and Australia (2000).

A  compilation of the ten years work conducted in the laboratory of mycoplasma at I.N.R.A. Dijon to solve the riddle of grapevine flavescence dorée and other yellow's diseases of plants  (1969-1981) by former Director of the Research Laboratory on Plant Mycoplasma and Arboviruses  I.N.R.A, DIJON, FRANCE (Contact : 10 rue Jules Ferry, F. 21160 COUCHEY).

An updated Directory of Major Viruses and Viruses-like Diseases of Grapevine has been published in Options  Méditerranéens, ser,.B, No 55, Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Valenzano, Bari (CIHEAM / IAMB), 2006, by G.P. Martelli and E. Boudon-Padieu. It has been distributed in January 2007 to all members of ICVG free of charge.
